Google Trends Down To 20 Results

Google Trends are now down to 20 results. I remember when Google Trends offered 100 results then it was only 40. Now Google Trends has minimized their offerings to 20 trends.

Most bloggers depend on Google Trends to guide their writing and gain greater exposure. What impact do you think it will have now that there are only 20 Google Trends to follow?

While bloggers also review Bing, those results don't seem to drive as much traffic as Google Trends. I am wondering why Google Trends decided to give us fewer results again. Will this have a major impact on your writing and ability to attract more readers?

The economy is difficult enough, especially for those who agree your boss sucks and want to fire their bosses. I wonder why Google Trends would make this decision now. Can anyone enlighten me?

Target $3 Appliances

Target $3 appliances sound like an online myth but apparently it's not. Do Target $3 appliances really exist? We discovered the Target Black Friday Ad - It's Here! An array of items will be deeply discounted for Black Friday, including Target $3 appliances. So what are these Target $3 appliances anyway?

The rumored Target $3 appliances are from Chefmate and include a toaster, a 12-cup coffee maker, a slow cooker and a sandwich maker. This drastic cut in culinary costs makes us wonder how profitable Target $3 appliances will be for the company.

It also brings to mind the days when moms used to beg their husbands to get ANYTHING but kitchen appliances as holiday gifts. This year it seems everyone will want to take advantage of Target $3 appliances as gifts and for their own personal use.

Frankly, I'm breaking all past rules and telling my husband to check out the Target $3 appliances, especially that slow cooker I've wanted for awhile...and while I earn money online all day, I can be cooking dinner.  Sweet deal for anyone who fired a boss!

NACHA

NACHA sounds like a tasty snack but that's quite far from what it is. NACHA is actually the electronic payments association administering ACH payments.  If you already fired your boss, you know how important secure electronic payments are. Today NACHA issued a phishing alert that is sure to include malware.

According to the NACHA website, this is a brief description of what they do: “NACHA — The Electronic Payments Association is a not-for-profit association that oversees the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network, a safe, efficient, green, and high-quality payment system. More than 15,000 depository financial institutions originated and received 18.2 billion ACH payments in 2008. NACHA is responsible for the administration, development, and enforcement of theNACHA Operating Rulesand sound risk management practices for the ACH Network.”

Taken directly from NACHA, here is the phishing warning for November 12, 2009:

Random individuals and/or companies may have received a falsified e-mail with the subject title “Rejected ACH Transaction.” This e-mail appears to be from NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association telling them that there is a problem with an ACH transaction they have originated. The e-mail includes a link which redirects the individual to a fake web page which appears like the NACHA website and contains a link which is almost certainly executable virus with malware. See sample below.

Please alert any financial institution and/or company who have questions about this site and inform them that the e-mail did not originate from NACHA, the website is not that of NACHA’s, and inform them to not click on the link.
NACHA may also amend their rules in accordance with an expected surge in mobile payment processing over the national ACH network. Read more about mobile phones and NACHA here.

Boston Market - Kids Eat Free Saturday and Sunday!

Money saved is money earned as far as I'm concerned. As we all work longer hours online to earn extra cash for the holidays, it's convenient to stop for a healthy meal at Boston Market.

Did you know kids eat free on Saturday and Sunday at Boston Market? No, I didn't either until yesterday! We spent a day shoe shopping for the kids and holiday shopping at Hallmark. All that shopping made us hungry so we stopped at Boston Market because I had a coupon. I am also Bzzzing for the holiday custom orders so I wanted to pick up a menu.

When we went to give the cashier the coupon, she said she could take that or give us two kids meals for free. We were pleasantly surprised to discover two kids eat free with adults on Saturday and Sunday! She even gave us our sodas for free because we had the coupon.

Here's the Boston Market deal:

Valid for up to 2 kids meals (14 and under)

$6 minimum adult purchase required

Includes up to 4 free kids meals with the purchase of any Family Meal

No coupon required but kids must be present to claim their meals.

Extended to January 31, 2010!!

Not valid with other discounts, coupons or special offers.

I was also impressed with their catering menu for the holidays and would love to save myself all that work. Meanwhile, I know where we will be going for family night out for the next three months!

I Earned $40 Online Last Week!

Last week I was glad to earn an extra $40 online.  At this time of year, it comes in handy to get extra cash.  Between the cost of heat and the holidays, you can go broke!  How did I earn that $40 - with another $20 coming into my PayPal account this week?  For spending a couple of hours telling people what I like.

Not only did I earn cash, I built my Twitter following.  Some followers were "spammy" but many were valuable and some I decided to follow, too.

Alright, where can you go to earn extra cash and build your business?  Check it out right here and get started!!
